Rotary Lights 2009

Uba and Grandpa came to visit us early this week. We bundled up and went to see the Rotary Lights which are always amazing. Every year, they add a new light feature, and in the past few years warm-up tents and a light show have been added. I think those were our favorites. Posing as the nutcracker was also fun! Gia quietly looked around taking in all of the colors and shapes.

Let It Snow!

The day after Christmas, over six inches of snow fell around our parents' houses. The falling snow was pretty in the morning, so Ryan and I took a minute to take Gianna's picture. She actually started reaching for the falling snowflakes. I wish the flakes were bigger so that they were more noticeable in the pictures. Gianna is happy as can be in the pictures though, and that's all that really matters!

Christmas - Round Three

On Christmas morning, Gianna, Ryan, Vito, and I went to celebrate with Mom, Cliff, Clay, and Lacey. After a yummy breakfast, present opening, and relaxing, we got ready to visit Gia's Great Grandma and Grandpa. From there, we were off to Aunt Debbie and Uncle Mike's to see the rest of the family. As you can see, Gianna does very well visiting with everyone, and I think she likes all of the attention!

Christmas - Round Two

On Christmas Eve, Gianna spent time with Dziadzia and opened some fun toys! Afterwards, we all went to Nicole's house to visit the rest of the family.

Christmas - Round One

Gianna's first Christmas celebration was with the Conley's. We had a lot of fun opening gifts and playing games.

Uba and Grandpa were in Madison with Lea, Casey, Cooper, and Brecken, but they left us a couple of gifts to open. We will celebrate with them in a couple of weeks.

I am very late to post, but healthy Brecken Charles Zwettler arrived on December 11. He is a sleepy, little snuggler!

Gianna is calling Ryan from the rooftops. We are excited for him to come home from Tampa tonight!

Various Visits

Gianna got to spend time with lots of friends and family this weekend. We went shopping and out to eat at Nick's Pizza & Pub with Dziadzia. The fans, lights, and Dziadzia's babble kept tired, little Gia happy.

Great Grandma and Grandpa were happy to see all of her smiles. I think they were shocked at how much she eats! Amber, Aunt Stacy, and Uncle Brian stopped by to play too.

We were lucky enough to meet Sara Lancaster (Edenhofer) for breakfast. Watch out John, she said that Gianna gives her baby fever!

Gianna got to meet Sarah Stephens (Counihan) and her husband, Jeremy, too. We only see each other once in a while when the La Crosse girls get together, so I was happy to catch up and feel her little baby bump.

We were busy girls, but visiting with friends and family can't be beat!

Amber's 21st Birthday

On Saturday night, a bunch of us went out for Amber's 21st birthday. Gia stayed home with Grandpa. She woke up with her diaper on backwards, but other than that, they had fun! I cannot get my text and pictures to line up for some reason, but you can figure it out...

Gianna and I went to see Uncle Clay play basketball in Union Grove tonight with Grandma and Grandpa. It was a close, foul-filled game.

Gia is obsessed with this plant from Great Grandma and Grandpa! If only she would stop trying to eat it, things would be okay.

Gia might just talk before she crawls! She's not screaming this time, so turn your volume up.

Gianna and Genevieve

Gianna and I were lucky enough to spend time with Molly and Genevieve yesterday, and we had the Froman's over for dinner tonight. Gia and Gena have so much fun together!

Six Month Check-Up

My little baby is still in the 25th percentile for height and weight just like Dr. Thurman predicted. Gianna weighs a whopping 15.1 pounds, and she is 25 inches long. With three sets of immunizations and six months of eighth grade cooties that I bring home under her belt, we feel extremely fortunate that Gia has not been sick at all. She is a tiny toughy!

Family Fun
