Official Slacker

I don't know what happened with the crazy formatting and lack of video that I uploaded. I will try again with the video or pictures this week...

Okay, I cannot believe that I haven't posted in A MONTH! What I have even more trouble believing is that I haven't gotten yelled at by the grandparents. It is late, and I have to be up early, so here is a quick update on Fawver Family life:

Gianna

  • gives kisses
  • EIGHT teeth!
  • crawling around like a banchee.
  • sippy cups and drinks whole milk
  • loves to dress-up, read, play with and listen to music, and eat
  • "read" to me last night (flipped pages of an animal book and made some of the sounds).
  • climbed right up the one step from Uba and Grandpa's living room to dining/kitchen area
  • babbles non-stop and has some words - ball, doggy, mama, dada, Vito in some form, ota (daycare's son, Dakota) hi, bye.

Rachel

  • applying for job within district
  • master's program done in July!
  • loves being home with Gia for the summer

Ryan

  • grill master as of late
  • loves that Gia (and I) are home when he stops by for things
  • JJ's doing great, anxious for next venture (yet to be determined)

Vito

  • still lazy
  • loves summer
  • loves Gianna (for all of the food she feeds him if nothing else)

Daddy’s Day

Gia took great pride in getting her Daddy just what he wanted (a George Foreman Grill) and wrapping it up perfectly.

IMG_1499 Ryan is an amazing Dad. He races me to her bedroom door to get her from naps, plays music for her to dance to, reads her stories, and always makes her laugh. Gia says, “DaDa” waaay more than “MaMa.” Yes, I am bitter, but I can’t complain one bit about the relationship Gia and Ryan have.

Happy Father’s Day!

Mr. Matas

Aaron came to visit. We had some play time, ate a nice dinner, and the boys had some more play time. We missed Kelsey, but hopefully, we will see her soon.
