We Are Thankful

Gia liked her special Thanksgiving sweet potatoes.

Cooper is so cute (and big). He loves to play with Gia and talk to her about his stuff. He was excited about the big turkey.
"Did someone say dinner is ready?"
Ryan was most thankful for fitting into the high school basketball uniforms still. He also said that he was thankful for his wife and daughter.

Ryan, Gianna, Vito, and I had a great Thanksgiving visiting lots of family and spending time together. We started Thursday morning at Aunt Sue and Uncle Al's. All of the little kids are getting big, and round two has started with Lea and Staci being pregnant. That afternoon, we went to Aunt Debbie and Uncle Mike's. We had lots of babysitters in that house! On Friday morning, we met Dziadzia for breakfast. Gia was squealing most of the time. Whenever we are in public, she likes to let everyone know that she is around.

I truly am thankful for my family. I could never have imagined the joy that Gianna has brought me. Ryan is so supportive of me, and he is a wonderful daddy. We wouldn't be the people we are today without our extended families and friends either. Thanks to all!

Play Date

Gianna and I drove to Menomonie to visit Lisa, Reese, and Bree in their beautiful, new house. Bree is a little roller! She just rolls herself all over. We were more than happy to spend time with them! Hopefully, we can get together one more time before I start working Fridays.

Turkey Trot 2009

Ryan and I decided to run the Turkey Trot this morning at the last minute. It is a 5K run to raise money for the UW-L Rec Center.

We ran a mile hard, walked a quarter mile in daddy's arms, ran a mile hard, walked a quarter mile in daddy's arms... In her stroller, she was screaming; in Ryan's arms, she was perfectly content.

Gianna can now say that she completed her first road race before she was six months old!

Washcloth Wonders

Why is it that babies love to suck on wet washcloths?

Washcloth or not, Gianna still loves taking baths.

Good Luck Erin

Gianna's big cousin, Erin, is in St. Petersburg, Russia for the World Age Group Championships. Double mini is where Erin shines. Jump and flip your little heart out E!

Running

Ryan, Gia, and I took advantage of the weather and went running. Bundled little Gia sat peacefully enjoying the view. It was a little breezy, so we pulled out the rain gear for the stroller. Yesterday, she got so cozy that she even fell asleep.

Family Time

Ryan, Gia, Vito, and I have actually had some time at home together recently, and it has been great. Doing laundry, taking walks, and napping seem uneventful, but we have loved our time together regardless.

"I'm so cute!"
Gia is looking in a mirror.

More Please

Gia is learning sign language. Her sign for more looks different than the one we use.

Halloween and Green Beans

Ryan, Gianna, and I went to visit our families for the weekend. We saw lots of family, and we had lots of fun.

Yep, the cutest lady bug in the world
Check out Little Deuce Coop and Nolan Williams (blogs) for more pictures from our weekend.

Gianna tried green beans for the first time tonight. Previously, she was only eating rice cereal.
