Brother or Sister?

On Wednesday before Thanksgiving, we were given news to be thankful for.  Our growing baby is healthy and active!  Here is a video of Ryan telling Gia if she is having a brother or a sister.

Sorry for the horrible videography...

Gianna got to share the exciting news with our family over Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving, we got to see all (almost) of our family.  I love that it is on Thursday because although the day is full of travels, we have the whole weekend to visit and relax.

 Look really closely...
She is tasting the rose bud!

Our starving little one needed a snuggle from Daddy.

 Let the games begin!

After dinner, we all shared what we are thankful for.  Gia said she is thankful for Tricia (day care).  Ryan and I are thankful to have such a great day care provider.

Little Visits

We traveled back home this weekend to see Lisa, Jim, and Caroline.  Unfortunately, we live 8 or 9 hours apart, so meeting half-way is the only way most times.  I am an idiot and completely forgot that my camera was in my car the entire time.  Instead of pictures...you'll get words.

Buffalo Wild Wings was our first stop.  We ate lunch, and then headed to Jim and Lisa's hotel to go swimming.  Caroline was wonderful with Gianna!  The girls swam and played, the older girls talked, and the boys watched football.  Catching up with Lisa is always great.  We are going to have babies that will only be a few weeks apart (yay!), so there was lots of pregnancy talk.  After dinner, we all went our separate ways.  Since Lisa is expecting, I am sure that I will see more of her over the next six months!

On Sunday morning, Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Trish met us for breakfast - mmm...blueberry pancakes :).  We stopped to see Great Grandpa Krieger and Susie too.  Gianna and Great Grandpa had fun on the keyboard together.

Sweet as Pie

During our lengthy and precious bedtime routine each night, Gianna tells us what her favorite memory of the day was.  Tonight, she said, "My favorite thing is the baby in Mommy's belly."  When it was time for hugs and kisses, the baby got one too.  I just love her!
