Soaking It All Up

Gianna is a little sponge!  Seriously, I think I need to watch what I say around her.  She is doing a great job mimicking us, and I am just amazed at what she picks up on.

She imitates an elephant, a monkey, a fish, and barks like a dog.  If you look carefully, Gia is on the fish page of her animal book, and she was doing her fish lips.  IMG_1618

Gia is all about babies too.  She carries them, gives hugs and kisses, and even calls Vito “baby.”  IMG_1625

Tonight, she learned to “open up” and show Ryan that her food is all gone in her mouth.  I can’t get over how fast she is picking up on things.  Every day, she shows me something new she can do.

Graduation Weekend

This weekend, we got to spend time with Uba, Grandpa, Dziadzia, Grandma, Grandpa, Great-Grandma, and Great-Grandpa.  They all came up to celebrate my graduation with us.  After the ceremony, we ate a delicious dinner at the Freight House, my favorite.IMG_1616We also spent lots of time playing! It was so nice to have them all here to visit, celebrate, and relax.

Hello July

Hot and sunny sums up last week.  Humid and rainy sums up this week.  Gia and I managed to sneak outside by our colorful flowers in between rain drops yesterday though.

Friends

Gianna and I have had lots of visitors this week, and we love it!  The weather has been beautiful, so we all spent some time outside too.  Anna and her son, Reilly, came over yesterday.  Gia wasn’t the most cooperative one year old, so we didn’t get a picture.

Suzanne and her baby, Kalani, and Lex and her girls, Ella and Quinlee, were here to play today. Here are the four cutest girls I’ve ever seen (looking in four different directions, of course)!

Visiting Uba & Grandpa

Lisa Jarrick married Jim Rosema this weekend, so Ryan and I were in Michigan celebrating while Gianna swam and demanded to be pushed around on the fire truck.  I think she had a GREAT time!
