Weekend Highlights, revisited

I didn't take many pictures this past weekend, so I stole some instead!  As I mentioned, Great Grandpa Krieger celebrated his 80th birthday this weekend with lots of friends and family.  Aunt Sue and Uncle Al have a great big yard that is very kid friendly.  Gia kept it simple and chose the tent with the little squishy toys before she crawled off yelling for Uba.  

Megan and Derek celebrated their engagement on Friday night with a (dance) party.  It was so nice to meet Derek and his family.  Megan and I figured out that I've known her since she was 10.  She was trying to make me feel old.  We can't wait for the wedding in Arizona!

Walking With Baby

Gianna loves her babies, and she was more than happy pushing this little baby around in the store.  The stroller wasn’t quite sturdy enough for Gia to be completely independent.  Soon enough, I think.

Dziadzia’s 60th

Thanks to family and friends, we surprised my dad with a dinner in honor of his 60th birthday this year.  The whole thing was a little haphazard, but Dad was happy, and that was the goal.  Happy 60th to my Uncle Tony this year as well!

Ahh, Sweet Peacefulness

This weekend, we traveled to our parents' houses for a few big events: Grandpa Krieger's 80th party, Megan and Derek's engagement party, and my dad's surprise 60th dinner. These events were preceded by an amazingly peaceful ride. Gianna.did.not.scream. She chatted, slept, and snacked instead (on the way there and back), and it was wonderful!
