Obsessed.  6:45 this morning, Gia came in my room asking for "Kota's song."  Dakota is Tricia's (day care provider) son.  The fact that she put her blanky on the couch before even coming into my room tells me that this song/video was the first thing on this little girl's mind.  Watch for the late, but no less dramatic, hair flip...

Gianna's Third Birthday

Gianna May turned 3 on Friday, May 25th.  To celebrate the occasion, she went to day care late, shared cake pops with friends, got picked up early, got a hair cut, played outside, and opened cards and presents.  I believe she thoroughly enjoyed her special day, and she'll love seeing everyone at her party in a couple of weeks!  I can't get over the whole 3 thing, but here we are...

FAVORITES

sing (watch the One Direction What Makes You Beautiful video) and dance,

read books and color,

run wild, jump on the trampoline, and go to the park,

cook in her kitchen and take care of babies,
play with family and friends

SELF-AWARE

 Gianna asks Tricia if she was a good girl every day.  Regardless of Tricia's response, Gia gives us a very honest behavioral report.  

"I spit at Jaden Jo."

"I tell Paisley to worry about yourself."

and we do hear lots of, "I was a good girl!"

Gianna is cuddly, helpful, loving, caring, funny, strong-willed, adventurous, smart, kind, and so much more.  We couldn't ask for anything else.  Happy Birthday Monkey Moo!

Easter Part II

The Easter Bunny had two more stops to make today.  At Uba and Grandpa's, he left eggs all over the yard and baskets full of surprises.  We enjoyed the sunny day and our big Easter lunch before heading back home.

When we got to our house, Gianna found a trail of eggs that lead her to her room.  She was excited to see that the Easter bunny made it to our house too and left her special treats to find.

Easter Part I

Gia had such an awesome and fun-filled day.  We met Dziadzia for breakfast and then headed to the Twin Lakes Country Club for a couple of hours.  Gianna played in the pavilion, twirled around in the grass, did front rolls, and spent time outside in the sunshine with family.  The mad dash during the Easter Egg Hunt was much more interesting than actually picking up the eggs for Gia, but she managed to find 3 (plus one that was "donated"). 

After a good rest, Gianna played with her cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents at Grandma and Cowboy Grandpa's.  We fit-in one more egg hunt before leaving, and Gia was more successful this round with a total of 29.  Happy Easter!

Uba & Grandpa's

Going home to visit family is always so nice.  We are crazy busy every time, but something about it is still relaxing.  Gianna, Cooper, and Brecken have a blast playing at Uba and Grandpa's.

Gia and Coop colored with Uba early this morning while Brecken snuggled in bed with Grandpa.  After awhile, Gianna and Brecks watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse from a nest, and Cooper continued to color a special egg for each person in the family.

The kids absolutely love exploring outside.  They hiked, fished, and went on four-wheeler rides yesterday.  Cooper cut down a tree and dug up worms while Gia screamed in fear over the worms and eventually found comfort in watching from a lawn chair at a distance with blanky in hand.
