Outta Dodge

This weekend is Oktoberfest in La Crosse, which is huge. Ryan works his tail off. This year, I decided that the girls and I were going to wake up and get "outta Dodge" and out of Ry's hair!

Our first stop was Monkey Joe's in Kenosha with Dzia Dzia.

Gianna had fun giving wild boat rides and steering the at the crane at the Children's Museum today!

When asked what she wanted to tell her grandparents today, Gianna answered, "I love you."

Exhausted

The Tinley Monster gets terrible tummy aches. Ever since she was teeny tiny, this has been the case. I watched what I ate when I was nursing and practically gave up all dairy. When we found that she drank more from a bottle than from me, we gave her more bottles, which killed my supply and production. We moved onto sensitive formula #1, and then sensitive formula #2. I like to think things have gotten better, but I'm pretty sure they haven't. It seems like we have a cycle of a couple of good weeks and then a horrible day with a couple of bad hours mixed in here and there. 

I wish that her tummy troubles were the only problem our little honey has, but they lead to very disrupted sleep. Tinley will be five months old this week, and she wakes up anywhere from three to six times a night. On horrendous nights, she is up even more! I swear that if she was comfortable enough to eat regularly, she might sleep regularly. Or maybe it is the other way around. Regardless, this baby girl (and sister, mom, & dad) needs a break.
