Fox Valley Tumbling and Trampoline

Gianna recently competed on floor and trampoline in her second tumbling meet.  She has been to 2 Parent & Tot tumbling classes in her life at my Aunt Stacy's gym (FVTT).  She loves it!

Was she adorable?  Yep.

Halloween

So, Thanksgiving has come and gone, and I am just posting from Halloween.  Everything is so fun and exciting for Gia at this age though; I need to capture it whenever I can.

"Trick or Treat" started at the foot of each driveway whether people were already outside to greet Gia or not.  After getting treated at the second house, the lightbulb popped on, and the little butterfly asked, "We go to another house?"

At the two more house warning, Gia responded with a gleeful squeal.  To her, this was not a time to go home message but a promise for two more pieces of candy.  Miss Gianna May had quite the Halloween run this year.

Halloween Prep

Who would have thought that the weather would be so cooperative this time of year?  We grilled out tonight while Gianna decorated her pumpkin and Grandpa fished.  Ryan and I will have a pumpkin-off later this week...game on.

I'm gonna eat you...

Overdue Updates

Miss Gianna May is now 2 years and 5 months old.  She has many of the same loves that she did a year ago: reading, music, dancing, babies, eating, sweets, walks, bike rides, and parks.  Gia talks an unbelievable amount, and her newest question for people is, "What your name?"

Favorite Books
The Lion and the Mouse
Olivia and Oliver
I Like Myself

Favorite Songs
Whole World
Wake Up Song
Father Abraham
The Disappointing Pancake
Best Friend
Jay Bird

Favorite Foods
Apples
Tacos
JJ Chips
Jelly Beans
Green Beans

I tried to do Favorite Phrases, but I found it too hard because she talks nonstop, and we never know what she'll come up with next.  Lately, she will tell us to do something and then say, "Good Girl Mama," or "Good Boy Daddy/Vito."  Unfortunately, she hasn't given up the high pitched screaming, but she doesn't exercise her lungs quite as often as she used to, thank goodness (Gia will tell you it is gosh or God; she tries to correct you but gets confused).  We are forever answering questions no matter what the topic.  One question Ryan can't wait to find the answer to is what "tasty" describes.  Not all yummy things are tasty, but toothpaste definitely is.

Ryan and I feel very fortunate that she loves walks, bike rides, and being outside in general.  We have biked all over La Crosse and Onalaska towing Gianna in the Burley.  We spent time at two local Farmer's Markets this past weekend because they are closing shop for the year, and we continue to visit parks around the area.

Gianna isn't a huge fan of getting her picture taken these days, and as a result of that and photographer error, I cannot seem to get a decent picture of her and Ryan...soon, I promise.

The View

People have been asking about our house, and we are happy to share because building is extremely exciting!  Hopefully, a couple of pictures can start to clarify any confusion I have caused while talking to people.  I find myself using all sorts of made-up terminology, and I am easily turned around since we flipped the house on the plans.

I am thankful that Gianna won't always have to look at a porta-potty from her bedroom, and one day she'll agree.

Our porch is a little bigger than we thought, and I love it.  Pumpkins, hay bales, corn stalks...I can't wait to decorate it for each season.

Halloween at Clearwater Farms

Clearwater Farms is a small hobby farm in Onalaska.  On Saturday, they had a Halloween event for the public.  Gianna fed the animals, painted pumpkins, decorated a gourd, saw some friends, and danced.  The weather was beautiful, and the laid back atmosphere was perfect.

Nadia and Anya are friends from day care.

Gianna picked the greenest pumpkin she could find to paint.

The glitter glued to Gia's hands was very distracting.

Gianna got the Zumba Atomic party started.
